More portraits, honor student Samir Abboud. This image almost looks like natural light.
So it's kinda pathetic, my co-workers are trying to hire Dave Black to come here and give us three a private lighting session/class/learning thing. It's $1,000 a day + travel expenses and hotel to book him. I'm trying to talk them out of it, what is he going to teach them that they should already know to be a, quote unquote, "professional photographer". Come on guys, he's just gunna plug Nikon all day and show us how to balance lighting temps, big woop. Don't get me wrong, Dave's a great guy, but my co-workers should already know the stuff he's gunna teach us. If you ask me, save Dave a pointless trip and go back to school for some Lighting 101 courses. Anyways, enough of my rants a raves about growing old and lacking creative ideas. Really this just means that it's time for the next generation of photographers to step up to bat and leave the geezers to choke on our pixels.....
