Grid Iron Glory...
This is the student produced, 11:30 - Midnight, local Friday Night Football newscast. They have won the student equivalent to an Emmy pretty much every year, I've been told. If you ever think your job is stressful, spend an evening in the control room for this production, wow they are good.

I've attempted my new shtick. I'm going thru this phase of modern versions of classical art. Here's Ruben's "Daniel and the Lions Den." This is about three months of mental planning. Three weeks of physical planning, ie location, models, clothing. Four hours of preparing the lights and location. 45 minutes of shooting. I can not express enough of my thanks to the ladies of the Chi Omega Sorority for all their help. Thank You...

This is an image for my campus job, I do the same as I did at Tech, but instead of the entire campus I shoot just for the Scripps College of Communication. These ladies interned with either Nickelodeon or Seasame Street. One of the girls got to meet Elmo.

Here's my first assignment for a biz class. We had to recreate an advertisment line. Most people did something like a Gap add or something like that. I had an old idea for a pic using a pair of sunglasses. This is two images from my shoot for the "what happen here, stays here." Las Vegas adds, the vertical used in the add was a horizontal that I cropped. The pics are nothing like my original idea. Its not photoshopped other than the text. I found the local Elvis impersonator, he's an accountant by day and Elvis, Tom Jones, and Vanilla Ice by night. For the pictures he worked for free, much cheaper than renting or buying a Elvis suit-thingy, when he does charge for his act he donates all the money to a local church or charity. O the people you meet fo the oddest reasons.

Long time no post, sorry...
I've been beyong busy with school stuff, I've already had a three page paper and a two page proposal due in the first week of being here. I haven't shot aything yet, so no image this posting, sorry...
Good people, the PJ's don't really like me cuz I've gone to the dark side, commercial photo. Oh well, you can't win 'em all. I'm the only commercial student this year, hazza for me and causing a ruckus. Anywho...I'll have an image or two soon enough.
